Job Description

Reporting to the senior sales director, the client service representative (CSR) will focus on managing the day-to-day relationships of all potential and existing clients and will provide outstanding customer service for which we are known. The CSR person will handle in-house account management and be the first line of contact for all medical provider clients for our laboratories.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support Medical Provider

  • Provide regular follow-up and refresher training as needed
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve service, billing, or patient complaints
  • Assist in obtaining information missing from requisitions to facilitate prompt specimen processing
  • Work with the logistic manager to ensure clinics are adequately stocked with proper supplies
  • Work with the laboratory team to monitor turnaround time for specimens and ensure issues are resolved

Onboarding of New Clients

  • Work with the sales and support team to onboard new clients and manage tasks surrounding the onboarding process
  • Help train clients where necessary on proper collection, packaging, and shipping procedures
  • Package and shipping starter kits and other new client supplies

Executive Assistant

  • Compile and prepare marketing materials
  • Schedule potential provider lunches for the director
  • Follow up with clients on paperwork, scheduling requests, and other items as directed by the sales manager
  • Conduct sales calls for identified new clinics/doctors

Education and Experience

  • Highschool degree or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in business, office technology, or lab assistant (preferred)
  • One or more years of experience in a laboratory, client services, or medical physician’s office (preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds
